What is Heaven REALLY Like?

Jesus tells us in Luke 21 as the end approaches it will be an intense but short period of time. When this list of things begin to happen, look up because your redemption is near.
The reason many people don’t get overly excited is because they don’t understand the concept of redemption. The word redeem means to BUY BACK / purchase again. In order to buy back you had to have once owned it.
Adam and Eve had everything they were created with – the whole package, but through their rebellion against God, they lost it. Jesus came and purchased it back on the cross – everything we lost – He purchased it back.
We – at this moment – are only experiencing a very small amount of what Jesus came to redeem, but on the day that Jesus comes and takes us to our Heavenly home for eternity – we get everything back!

Created to Rule, Redeemed to Reign

July 5, 2026

In Genesis 1:27-28, God created humanity in His image and entrusted them with the responsibility of ruling over His creation as His representatives. Sin distorted that calling, bringing corruption, conflict, and death into the world. In eternity, believers will reign with Christ, fulfilling God’s design for humanity in a perfected creation where His will is done completely and His glory is fully displayed.

Redeemed Home!

July 12, 2026

In John 14:1–7, Jesus comforts His disciples with the promise that He is preparing a place for them in His Father’s house, assuring them that this present world is not their final home. A redeemed home is the fulfillment of that promise. Through Jesus, the way to this home has been opened, and what was once lost through sin is fully restored in eternal fellowship with the Father.

Back to Face to Face

July 19, 2026

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve enjoyed an unbroken, face-to-face fellowship with God, walking and talking with Him in perfect intimacy and ease. Yet, having never known separation, they lacked the frame of reference to fully value the depth of what they possessed. Sin shattered that original closeness, but it did not cancel God’s plan. Through Jesus Christ, what was lost in Eden will be fully restored, and when He returns, believers will once again experience unhindered, face-to-face intimacy with God in a redeemed and perfected Heaven.
