Unmasking the Devil

Diablos is the accuser and slanderer. The devil tries to divide us from every redemptive relationship in life.

Unmasking the Antichrist

According to 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, one of the major strategies of our enemy is A an outpouring of spiritual deception to incite the world to rebel against God. This is what we see happening in our world right now. It is an end time falling away from truth. It’s a spirit of deception that is poured out upon this earth like we have never seen before. The purpose is to create an environment in which the world can be seduced to follow the Antichrist and accept him as God.

Unmasking the Roaring Lion

1 Peter 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Peter uses the analogy of a roaring lion. Be sober, be vigilant – be on the alert because you have an enemy that is prowling around like a roaring lion. He’s looking for someone that he may devour. It doesn’t say can. That would mean the ability to devour you. Peter uses the term “may” because the roaring lion is asking permission. We actually must give him permission to devour us.
