The physical, intellectual, and spiritual are the three areas of the human personality. Whole men are men healed physically, mentally, and spiritually. The paralytic in John 5:1–14 was weak in all three areas: his body was paralyzed, his mind was discouraged, and his spirit was sinful. Healing the hearts, minds, and emotions of men is the key to healing the family. When men are not whole, they destroy themselves and their families.
